Mr. Johnson earned his Juris Doctor degree from De Paul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois in 1989. He went to work as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the City of Chicago, Department of Law, Building & Housing Division, Special Prosecutions. He moved to the private sector in 1996 and established his present practice in Broward County, Florida. Alexander P. Johnson is very active in the community. He was a founding Director of the Broward County Landlords Association nka Florida Landlords Action Group, and is currently a member of the Real Property Probate & Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar, and the Broward County Bar Association – Real Property Section . He also serves as a Pro Bono attorney for Broward Lawyers Care and The Florida Bar FLASH (Florida Attorneys Saving Homes). He has taught continuing legal eduction courses to lawyers on landlord tenant law and has handled thousands of landlord tenant cases in south Florida.
